i am so sad. WWD just sent an alert email that Alexander McQueen has committed suicide. he truly was a fashion protege, and one of the few designers whose collections i always eagerly looked forward to seeing.

Big article in the SB Newspress about him. Played down the suicide a bit. Mentioned that he was the absolute leader in British fashion. But the photo included in the article was amazing. A model wearing a had made of monarch butterflies.... you might want to add that shot to "nook." ~M
