the hump

my husband said something profound yesterday as we were walking through the bitter cold dark at 6:00pm heading towards a superbowl get together. we were discussing winter, and how it is so hard to get motivated to do anything. leaving the house requires an absurd amount of bundling, wrapping, strapping and covering (and still your nose gets froze). and the fact that it gets dark before you leave work just makes you want to crawl into bed at what, during the summer, would just be the start of a lovely evening. but he said "i like to make myself do things, to push over the hump, rather than the hump pushing me over." good plan boo. I like your husband's philosophy...

i like to make myself do things, to push over the hump, rather than the hump pushing me over."

Nice mountain too :)
