"they were renting...so her decor was of the temporary sort.
her love, however, was a permanent fixture.
even the landlord could see that."
from Truffle Girls. a beautiful website.

my co-worker and i are going shopping in London next week. we have a full schedule, just trying to get to all the shops we want to see for work. i would absolutely love to make it out to Robert Ryan's shop Ryantown. sadly for me, it is way out in east London, and nowhere near any of our other must-see spots. i will just have to be satisfied with shopping his etsy store for now.

stunning tattoo art by Amanda Wachob via Daily Candy. makes one rethink the idea of getting a tattoo...

new (to me) artist Christina Drejenstam discovered today via blog Simple Blueprint also discovered today. there are so many beautiful things out there to see!

i have a deep love of Lula magazine. i have been trying to figure out when the next issue will come out. from what i've culled today online, the Spring/Summer 2010 issue just came out. it seems that there were many possible covers, and although the blog i got these from was in french (sadly i do not speak french) what i think they were saying is that these were all possible covers. i could not find any confirmation of what the actual cover is. guess it's time to take a trip to the newsstand. personally, i think they are all gorgeous...
it seems impossible to find cute jars for homemade goodies when you need them. just came across these at fantastic British gardening website Burgon & Ball. so lovely!

well, maybe not so green, but i wish it were. my friend went to the flower show in philadephia this weekend, and we have been talking gardens at work today. i am itching to do something beautiful with my small, shady outdoor space this summer. i would love to head over to Sprout (pictures above) to get some ideas, but i'm thinking i may need to wait a bit... maybe end of april?
